FIRST Robotics Competition!
FIRST is the world's leading youth-serving nonprofit, advancing STEM education and preparing young people for the future.
The Blue's Bots n' Bolts participate in FRC (First Robotics Competition), where teams of high school students with limited time and resources are challenged to build successful robots for the game of the year, make alliances, fundraise, and expand an appreciation for STEAM within our community.
The FRC Team 9592, Blue's Bots n' Bolts, are a robotics team based in Timmins High & Vocational School in Timmins, ON, Canada. Our team consists of high school students throughout all four grade years. Each year we attend at a FIRST Robotics Competition, utilizing the 8 week time limit leading up to it to building a robot from scratch with the game's specific requirements.
On our off seasons, we plan fundraisers, spread an appreciation for STEAM subjects within our school and community, and collaborate to ensure our success in future years. With only 14 members, we've been hard at work!
